Launch services for a new heating company

We offer four services that match the order a new heating company should launch in: name and brand, website, Google profile and reviews, then paid calls. Most owners need two or three of them, not all four at once.

A new heating company needs fewer marketing services than an established one, but it needs them in a stricter order. Below are the four we offer, why each exists, and how to decide which to start with. If you only remember one thing: don't buy ads until someone who clicks can find a real website, a verified listing and a few honest reviews.

Everything here is marketing and business consulting. We don't do any heating work, inspections or code-compliance checks, and we don't advise on licensing; for that, see the authorities linked on each provincial page.

Company name and brand

Start here if you haven't printed anything yet. A name is the one marketing decision that's expensive to reverse, because it ends up on your registration, your truck, your invoices, your domain and your Google listing.

The naming and brand service covers availability checks in your provincial registry, domain options, a short list of names tested for clarity on the phone, and a simple visual identity: logo, colours and a van layout. In Quebec it also covers the French-language requirements that apply to business names and signage. If you already have a name you love, we'll check it rather than replace it.

Choose this first if: you're still planning, or your current name is hard to say, spell or find.

Launch website

Your website is where a homeowner goes to decide whether you're real. For a new company, that decision is everything, because you have no word-of-mouth yet.

The launch website service builds a focused site of five to seven pages: your services, the towns you cover, who you are and how to call or text. It's written for the questions people ask when their furnace has stopped, and it's built so you own the domain and every account. It can grow later as you add services or locations.

Choose this when: your name is settled and you're within a few months of taking work.

Google Business Profile and first reviews

For a local heating company, the Google listing is often the first thing a customer sees, before the website. It shows your hours, your service area, your photos and, crucially, your reviews.

The local launch service sets up and verifies the profile with accurate information, chooses the right categories, and puts a simple review habit in place so early customers leave honest feedback. It also covers what not to do, such as using a virtual office address, which can get a listing suspended.

Choose this when: you're legally able to take work and have a real phone number and service area.

First-year lead plan and call tracking

Paid search can put you in front of people searching right now for furnace repair or boiler replacement in your town. It's also the quickest way to waste startup cash if nobody measures it.

The first-year lead plan sets a monthly cap you can afford, tracks every call back to the ad that produced it, and reviews results with you each month. It includes a plan for missed calls, because a new owner on a job site misses more calls than they think.

Choose this when: the website, profile and a handful of reviews are live, and you have capacity for more work.

How to choose: three common starting points

Your situation Start with Add next
Still planning, nothing registered Name and brand Launch website
Registered and licensed, no online presence Launch website + local launch First-year lead plan
Already working, but calls are thin Local launch + first-year lead plan Website improvements

If you're unsure which row you're in, read the launch checklist guide or look at pricing. You can also call, text or email and describe where you are; we'll tell you honestly if you need less than you think.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy all four services?

No. Many new owners start with the name and the website, then add the profile and paid calls once they're licensed and ready to take work. We'll suggest the smallest useful starting point for your situation.

Which service brings in calls fastest?

Paid search, once the basics are in place. A Google Business Profile often becomes the steadier source over time, but it needs verification and reviews before it shows up well. The first-year lead plan bridges that gap.

Can I do some of this myself?

Yes. Name checks, registering your business and asking customers for reviews are all things an owner can do well. Our guides explain how. We're most useful where mistakes are costly: the website build, the profile setup and ad spending.

Do you install or service heating equipment?

No. We're a marketing and consulting service only. All heating work is done by you and your licensed team.
